This renewed partnership was highlighted during a courtesy visit by the newly elected chairman of the correspondents’ chapel, Ibrahim Kado, who led a delegation of journalists to the institution.
In his remarks, Ibrahim Kado, chairman of the correspondents’ chapel, commended the polytechnic for its strides in academic reforms and infrastructure development.
He pledged the media’s continued support in showcasing the institution’s achievements and promoting educational progress across Adamawa State.

“Our visit today reinforces our commitment to working with the polytechnic as strategic partners.
As members of the press, we are dedicated to amplifying the institution’s accomplishments and supporting its vision for educational excellence,” he stated.

Responding, the rector of Adamawa State Polytechnic, Professor Mohammed Toungos, expressed appreciation to the chapel for its consistent support over the years. He emphasised the critical role of the media in driving institutional growth and public awareness.

“The media is not merely a spectator but a crucial partner in our journey toward delivering quality education. We welcome this renewed collaboration and anticipate more impactful engagements,” Toungos said.
