Ex-Guber Aspirant, LG Boss Dump PDP, APC In Taraba, Kaduna

A former governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Taraba State, Prof. Jerome Nyameh, has resigned his membership of the party.

Nyame, who confirmed this to LEADERSHIP in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital on Monday, said he hadresigned from the PDP to join another political party.

When asked if he had identified the political party he intends to join, Nyameh said he was taking his time alongside his supporters to come up with the political platform before making it public.

.Similarly, former chairman of Kaduna North local government area, Mukhtar Lawal Baloni, announced has resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC),

He said, “It is quite unfortunate witnessing the APC’s departure from its founding ideologies and subsequent political deterioration in real time,” he said.

 

Baloni called for the emergence of a more inclusive and representative political platform, one that aligns with the principles of equity, justice, and true service to the people.

“It is due to the above-mentioned reasons that I wish to dissociate myself from the APC, while wishing for a better and more representative platform which aligns with our guiding principles so as to continue with the political journey for a better society,” he said.
