Prominent traditional titleholder, Dan Isan Gusau and Magayakin Tsafe, Abdulhafiz Umar Barau, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ibrahim Bello, the Emir of Gusau, describing the loss as a devastating blow to the people of Gusau Emirate, Zamfara State, and Nigeria at large.

In a heartfelt condolence message, Abdulhafiz paid tribute to the late monarch’s enduring legacy of humility, wisdom, and justice, noting that the Emir served his people with compassion, quiet strength, and unwavering integrity.

“His presence was calming; his advice, timeless; his leadership, deeply rooted in justice and simplicity,” the statement read.

Recounting a personal moment, Abdulhafiz reflected on the honor of receiving the traditional title of Dan Isan Gusau from the late Emir, calling it “one of the greatest privileges of my life,” and praising the Emir’s words of encouragement and wisdom.

While acknowledging the irreplaceable void the late monarch’s death has created, Abdulhafiz offered prayers for Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and urged the people of Gusau to find strength and solace in the Emir’s enduring legacy.

His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ibrahim Bello, was a respected figure in the traditional institution and widely known for his commitment to peace, faith, and community development.
