‎In Abia State’s hunt for young sporting talents, Governor Alex Otti has urged the council mayors to motivate the youths with modern sporting facilities.

‎Otti spoke at the closing ceremony of the 2nd edition of the Abia State Governor’s Secondary Schools Unity Games in Umuahia, the state capital.

Represented by his chief of staff, Caleb Ajagba, Otti said the government would assist such talents to reach the pinnacle of their dream.

‎He said: “I want to challenge the Mayors to make sure that you have sporting facilities that will be able to motivate these young ones to give their best.

‎”We are confident that as you (the young athletes) have started today in a very small way, tomorrow a great story will be told concerning you.
