Firm Donates Digital Printers To Schools In Abia

An indigenous firm, Generative Cad Services Limited has donated three 3D digital printers to three public secondary schools in Abia State.

‎At the presentation ceremony in Umuahia, the state capital, the chief executive officer of the firm Chukwubuikem Amaefula expressed it’s commitment to educational development of the state.

‎This gesture is in recognition of the tremendous achivements the state has recorded in the education sector under the administration of Governor Alex Otti,” Amaefula said.

‎According to him, the benefiting schools had been provided “access and training on the usage of the equipment to enhance effective teaching and learning”.

‎Receiving the items, the commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education,  Goodluck Ubochi said the donation is in line with the vision of the state government to modernize the sector.

‎He commended his Science, Technology and Innovation counterpart, David Kalu for attracting the items, and urged the beneficiaries to protect and maximise their use.

‎Speaking after taking delivery for his school the senior principal, Ibeku High School, Umuahia, Obioma Ekele , appreciated both the firm and the government for the donation.

‎Similarly, the principal Government Technical College, Aba, Godwin Nworu, appealed to the government to improve infrastructure and enhance power supply in the school for improved activities.
