Eleyinmi, a University’s staff at the Faculty of Education was abducted at his house located along Akungba-Supare Akoko Road in Akungba-Akoko, last week.

LEADERSHIP learnt that the victim was whisked to an undisclosed location after they shot sporadically into the air for several minutes to scare away the people around.

Eleyinmi later regained his freedom after the payment of an undisclosed amount as ransom to his abductors.

However, in a viral video, the suspects were apprehended while sharing the money collected from Eleyinmi’s release in the forest around Ago Panu, a Village between Oba Akoko and Owo in the state.
