As millions worldwide mark World Youth Day, the Shettima Yerima Movement has called on youths in Kaduna State to remain peaceful and law-abiding.

According to the group, sustainable progress can only be achieved in a peaceful society.
In a statement signed by its leader, Abubakar Abdullahi, the movement commended Comrade Shettima Yerima for his contributions to grassroots development.

He said: “We are calling on youths across the seven local government areas in Kaduna Central Senatorial District to maintain peace and embrace unity for the growth and development of the constituency.”

The group also urged the people to rally around Shettima, describing him as a leader with a proven track record of helping the downtrodden, supporting young people, and mobilising resources to assist the less privileged in society.

While acknowledging that visionary leadership is a key driver of effective and result-oriented representation in the National Assembly, the group expressed confidence that Yerima, as a youth, remains the best option to rescue Kaduna Central in the forthcoming 2027 elections.
