Nigeria and Croatia have initiated new business approaches and strategies to enhance trade and economic relations between the two countries.
The president of African Legacy International Media Services Ltd, Engr. Innocent Ogu, revealed the renewed initiative yesterday to journalists in Abuja.
He said the new approaches will begin from September 28 to October 4, 2025, with the Nigeria International Trade Fair/Expo Meetings –Zagreb, Croatia 2025, scheduled at The Westin Zagreb and Hotel International, Croatia.
Ogu described the event as “a historic platform to bridge continents through trade, innovation, and cultural partnerships between Nigeria and Croatia”.
He said the weeklong event with the theme, “Bridging Continents: Trade, Innovation, and Cultural Partnerships between Nigeria and Croatia”, will bring together government leaders, policymakers, investors, industry executives, and cultural ambassadors from both nations.
“This is more than a trade fair – it’s a gateway for Nigerian businesses, state governments, and federal ministries to position themselves in the Croatian and wider European Union (EU) markets,” Ogu said, adding that, “We are opening doors to investment, diplomacy, and cultural exchange at the highest levels.”
Speaking on the significance of the event, the organisers said, it will bring the two countries and participants to network with top Croatian ministries, chambers, and industry leaders; present investment opportunities to Croatian and EU markets; participate in high-level B2B and B2G matchmaking forums and engage in diplomatic and cultural exchange.
