Jigawa State governor Mohammed Badaru Abubakar has promised to work in collaboration with his party members in the state for the overwhelming victory of All Progressives Congress (APC) in all the elective positions in the forthcoming 2023 general election.
The governor made the declaration while speaking at the inauguration of APC State Campaign Council and the commissioning of the party’s new state secretariat in Dutse.
Badaru who is also the chairman of the campaign council stated that Jigawa State is an APC state and that they will do their best not to allow any other party to deceive the people of the state with empty promises.
He said beside delivering Jigawa State to APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinibu they will also make sure the party won all the elective seats in the state as they have done in 2015 and 2019 respectively.
“In 2019 you are all aware APC won all the contested seats in the state, and because it was clean election no any case was taken to the election petitions tribunal, therefore, we will repeat this by God grace in 2023.
“The people of the state bear witness that APC has fulfilled all its campaign promises with more additional projects and programmes that improve their social and economic life, so we are optimistic that the people of Jigawa and Nigeria will vote the party again for the continuation of our sustainable development projects,” Governor Badaru declared.
He assured that he would go to all the nooks and crannies of the state to campaign for the party’s candidates.
