Niger State-born Hajara Yakubu Jibril has joined the league of exceptionally bright young Nigerians who have won awards on the international scene.
She was recognised by Lovely Professional University, Punjab, India, as the Best Graduating African Student.
The 21-year-old indigene of Suleja local government area, who obtained a First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, also coasted home with the Distinguished Leaders Award (Best Female Leader).
She also won Public Service Award (Minister for Student Welfare and Development), and Global Ambassador Award (Recognition for Outstanding Student Leadership Across Borders).
Commenting on the feat, Barrister Idris Abdullahi, a former Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, Suleja Branch, said the young Hajara Yakubu Jibril has made “Nigeria proud.”
He called on relevant authorities at the state and federal levels to also recognise her, with a view to encouraging youths in the country, as well as those studying abroad, to emulate the hard work and dedication of the multiple award winner.
