The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has fixed Tuesday, September 2, 2025, for the inauguration of its National Convention Organising Committee ahead of the party’s elective convention later this year.
In a statement issued on Thursday and signed by the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, the party said the inauguration will take place at its WadataPlaza National Secretariat, Abuja, by 12 noon.
According to the statement, the 110-member main Committee will be chaired by Adamawa State governor, Ahmadu Fintiri. Osun State governor, Ademola Adeleke, will serve as Vice Chairman, while Enugu State governor, Peter Mbah, was named as Secretary.
“The NWC charges all leaders, critical stakeholders and teeming members of the PDP to remain united, focused and continue to work together towards the success of the PDP 2025 Elective National Convention scheduled to hold in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital on Saturday, 15th to Sunday, 16th November, 2025,” Ologunagba stated.
