The 22-year-old, who will don the No. 12 jersey, arrived in South London with a deal that carries an obligation to buy, meaning Palace can make the move permanent at the end of the 2025/26 campaign.

Uche’s arrival marks the Eagles’ fifth signing of the summer, adding to the captures of Walter Benítez, Borna Sosa, Yeremy Pino, and Jaydee Canvot, as the club continues to strengthen ahead of the new Premier League season.

Reacting to the move, Chairman Steve Parish said: “I’m delighted to welcome Christantus to the club – an exciting young talent, who is also a full international.

“Christantus has already shown his capability during his time in Spain and everyone at the club is looking forward to seeing him thrive in South London.”
