In the wake of the tragic passing of its former leader, the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has appointed Mrs Nancy Sabanti Nathan, as its acting head of service.

The appointment, which was announced in a press statement yesterday by Mr. Lere Olayinka, senior special assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, takes immediate effect.
Nathan’s elevation to the office followed the death of the occupant, Mrs Grace Adayilo, on Monday last week.

The new acting head is expected to steer the affairs of the FCTA’s civil service pending the appointment of a permanent successor.

Until her new appointment, Nathan was the permanent secretary at the Youth Development Secretariat of the FCTA, a position where she garnered significant administrative experience.

As the acting head of Service, Nathan, a member of the prestigious National Institute brings a wealth of experience and institutional knowledge to the role.
