With this victory, Wikki Tourists remain unbeaten in their first three games of the season. Maikaba praised his side for their character and discipline during the match, stating, “It was a big test for us. Abia Warriors are a continental team with experience and structure. I didn’t expect it to be easy, but my boys were disciplined and showed real character. They earned this win.”

Following this result, Wikki Tourists have moved up to second place in the league table, amassing a total of seven points.
