The project, officially named the NASFAT Youth Information Tech Center (NASYITEC), was executed through the company’s philanthropic arm, The Pillar’s Dream Living Foundation, and is aimed at equipping local youths with digital skills to boost innovation and opportunities in the community.
Speaking at the commissioning, the managing director of Kerojet, Femi Balogun, said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to community empowerment alongside business expansion.

“Commissioning this ICT Center is about unlocking possibilities for the youth of Ipaja, helping them gain skills, access opportunities, and dream bigger,” Balogun said.

“Our fueling stations across Nigeria are not just assets but touchpoints for creating value, jobs, and technical excellence. As we extend services internationally, we remain committed to raising industry standards while empowering communities.”

The Lagos State commissioner for Innovation, Science and Technology, Hon. Olaniyan Michael, commended the project, describing it as a model of public-private partnership that supports youth development and national growth.

“By investing in technology and skills, Kerojet is investing in the future of our youth and economy,” the commissioner said. “Such initiatives have a ripple effect that makes our economy more competitive and positions Nigeria as a hub for innovation.”

Also speaking, the President of NASFAT Ipaja Branch, Alhaji Abdulwaheed Ayodeji, expressed gratitude to Kerojet, noting that the ICT center would provide young people with tools to build careers and compete globally.

“This is more than the gift of technology; it is the gift of hope and a future for our youth,” Ayodeji said.

“This center will ignite ambitions, foster creativity, and prepare leaders of tomorrow.”
Founded in 2016, Kerojet has grown into one of the country’s top aviation fuel suppliers with operations in Lagos, Abuja, Kano, Jos, Port Harcourt, Kebbi, Kaduna, Yola, Sokoto, and Maiduguri.
