The team triumphed over West African rivals, including hosts Ghana, Togo, Benin, Liberia, and Sierra Leone, in a regional tournament held at the Gold Coast Tennis Club in Accra, Ghana, two weeks ago.

Nigeria’s formidable trio of Mofifunoluwa Atilola, Karina Opuene, and Mabubat Rasaki showcased exceptional teamwork, resilience, and tennis skills, winning all their matches throughout the event.

In the girls’ final, Nigeria decisively defeated hosts Ghana with a commanding 3-0 victory.

With this win, the Nigeria Girls’ Team not only secured the West African title but also booked their place at the Africa Junior Championships (AJC), where they will compete against the continent’s finest teams.
