In a move to bolster international collaboration within the telecommunications sector, HAYAT Telecoms of Tunisia has partnered with Northeast Telecoms of Nigeria.
The signing ceremony was held at HAYAT Telecoms’ headquarters in Tunisia, solidifying a shared commitment to enhancing telecommunications services across Nigeria.
The founder and CEO of Northeast Telecoms, Ahmed Shuaibu Gara Gombe, who disclosed this to LEADERSHIP Friday, expressed his excitement over the partnership.
He said the deal marked a new era in advancing digital communication across Africa and reinforcing relations between Tunisia and Nigeria, specifically addressing the escalating demand for reliable communication services.
The partnership focuses on developing fibre optic systems in the Northeast region and rural telephony initiatives. The collaboration aims to improve connectivity, facilitate technology transfer, and create new opportunities for innovation and job creation within Nigeria’s telecom industry.
