The letter also commended the emir of Machina’s contributions, including promoting traditional sports, such as Langa, Kokuwa, and Dambe, at local, state, national, and international levels, showcasing commitment to horse riding and displays, hosting and participating in prestigious events.

The SWAN National Meritorious Service Award will be presented to the emirs during the association’s Diamond Jubilee Celebration (SWAN @60) in Abuja from October 29 to 31, 2025.
