Buni described the gesture as a huge relief to the government, the affected and business communities plying the road.

He said the rehabilitation of the 90 km road would also rehabilitate socio- economic activities grossly affected by the destroyed road.

The governor described that the approval of N4 billion for rehabilitation of the road with a completion period of 36 months gave the people of the state a sense of belonging.

He said, “We are proud of this commitment and would support the execution of the project in the interest of our people and the business community visiting the state from within and outside the state.”
