Held in Lagos recently, the grand finale of the 2025 edition, themed “Unsung Heroes,” celebrated three outstanding young Nigerians whose bravery and innovation have inspired millions nationwide.
According to Dufil Prima Foods Plc, three winners emerged in different categories following a rigorous nationwide selection process involving community interviews, school validations, and third-party verifications. Nine-year-old Abraham Umoren from Akwa Ibom State won in the Physical Bravery category; Ismail Muhammad, 13, from Kwara State, clinched the Social Bravery award; while Hassan Adamu, 15, from Yobe State, emerged winner in the Intellectual Bravery category.

Speaking at the event, Temitope Ashiwaju, Group Corporate Communications and Events Manager, Dufil Prima Foods, said the awards continue to reflect the company’s commitment to celebrating the courage and creativity of Nigerian children.

“Every year, we are humbled by the depth of courage, ingenuity, and compassion shown by Nigerian children. The Indomie Heroes Awards is more than a ceremony; it is a mirror reflecting the future of Nigeria,” Ashiwaju said. “These stories remind us that heroism is not defined by age or status, but by selfless acts that uplift others.”

Since its inception in 2008, the Indomie Heroes Awards has celebrated 59 young heroes, awarded millions of naira in scholarships, and amplified the voices of children who embody courage, empathy, and social responsibility.
