The FIFA World Cup 2026™ is one step closer for football fans, as the second phase of ticket sales—known as the Early Ticket Draw—kicks off yesterday, with entries open until 31 October.

Following significant demand during the Visa Presale Draw, an additional one million tickets are being made available in this phase.

Fans eager to secure their place at the tournament must enter the Early Ticket Draw at FIFA.com/tickets, with the timing of their entry throughout the entry period having no bearing on their chances of success.

Existing FIFA ID holders should log in with their credentials to enter, while those without an account will need to create one to begin the process.

This phase is notably inclusive, featuring a domestic exclusivity time slot for residents of the host countries: Canada, Mexico, and the United States. After the entry period closes, successful entrants from these nations will be eligible for a randomised selection process granting them access to a priority purchase window starting on 12 November. This time slot will be open for 72 hours and will allow residents to purchase Single Match Tickets for matches taking place in their respective countries. Notably, cross-nation tickets will not be available during this period, with 75% of the tickets in this phase allocated to the domestic exclusivity time slot.

Heimo Schirgi, FIFA World Cup 2026 Chief Operating Officer, highlighted the immense interest generated for the tournament, especially from the host countries. “We have already seen massive interest from around the world for this tournament, and especially from within the host countries as Canada, Mexico, and the United States prepare to host the biggest FIFA World Cup yet,” he stated.

“This second phase, with its host country domestic exclusivity time slot, will allow us to say thank you to these local fans while ensuring global opportunities as well.”
Upon the conclusion of the domestic exclusivity time slot, fans who registered for the Early Ticket Draw will also have the chance to participate in a randomised selection process for purchase time slots starting on 17 November. This will allow both domestic and international fans the opportunity to buy available Single Match Tickets and Team Specific Tickets for matches across the three countries.
Upcoming phases will also offer additional tickets, including a Random Selection Draw phase following the Final Draw for the FIFA World Cup 2026™, which is scheduled for 5 December. During this phase, fans will be able to submit applications for specific matches after the Final Draw has been conducted.
Fans can also purchase single-match and multi-match hospitality packages, including match tickets, directly from FIFA’s official hospitality site at FIFA.com/hospitality. FIFA strongly encourages fans to acquire tickets only through FIFA.com/tickets, as unofficial sales channels may offer invalid tickets.
As fans prepare for the tournament, it is important to note that a match ticket does not guarantee entry into the host country. Supporters are urged to visit each host country’s government website for entry requirements. For more information on FAQs, Official Rules of the Early Ticket Draw, and complete terms and conditions for purchasing FIFA World Cup 2026™ tickets, fans should visit FIFA.com/tickets. No purchase is necessary to enter the draw, and participants must be 18 years or older.
