British Website ‘Turns Kenya’ Into Sex Ground

A British website has been found allegedly advertising “sex tours” to Kenya. Discovered by the human rights group, Stand Up to Racism, the site presents itself like a travel service, dressing up exploitation as leisure and abuse as adventure.

Kenyans were shocked to learn that the beauty and hospitality offer by their country were being exploited for immoral activities in Europe.

The website, registered under a UK domain and calling itself Kenya Horn Hub, was designed to look like a legitimate travel company. In reality, it openly advertised so-called “adult tours” across Kenya, presenting sexual exploitation as a form of luxury tourism.

The site is currently offline, reportedly after authorities initiated an investigation into its operators and possible links to wider trafficking networks. “This is not just a moral issue it’s a national one. Kenya’s name, our dignity, and the safety of our people are being dragged through the mud. These so called “sex tours” are nothing but organized abuse, a modern form of trafficking that hides behind tourism and technology,” said a Stand Up to Racism representative.

What makes the discovery even more painful was its timing. Just two weeks ago, a court in Kilifi freed a German man accused of molesting a 15-year-old Rwandan girl. He had been charged with preying on her repeatedly at his home in Mtondia between January and February last year. Yet the case collapsed, and he walked free. For that child and her family, justice slipped away again, leaving behind only silence and heartbreak.

According to the group, this is not an isolated story. “Across Kenya, we’ve seen a pattern: foreign nationals arriving under the banner of business, charity, or tourism, only to exploit our weaknesses – poverty, bureaucracy, corruption. They find loopholes, pay their way out, and vanish while their victims are left to carry the shame. Each case chips away at the trust we place in our justice system and the pride we hold in our nation.”

The group cited another case of a white foreigner in Kenya, Elwin Ter Horst, who was arrested after assaulting his Kenyan girlfriend, behaving aggressively toward the police, and even spitting at a police officer. Explaining his behaviour, he said he had come to the country to “invest in Kenya.”

“Some people think that if they have money, they can get away with anything even to humiliate Kenyans for boosting their ego.”

It said the situation needed to change as Kenya’s hospitality is not an invitation to abuse. The Stand Up to Racism promises to do it’s best to draw public attention to the website and seek justice for the girl in Kilifi and for every victim who has been silenced. “Kenya will not be a playground for ex-colonizers,” a representative of the human rights group stated.
