The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), in collaboration with the Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency (ADSEMA), has distributed relief materials to support victims of recent flooding in Yola-North and Yola-South local government areas of Adamawa State.
The intervention was facilitated by a federal lawmaker, Baba Zango, who pledged unwavering commitment to the welfare of disaster-affected communities and applauded the agency’s swift response.
Speaking through his aide, Usman Mohammed, the lawmaker expressed appreciation to the director-general of NEMA, Mrs Zubaida Umar, for promptly approving the relief items.

Mr Kurutsi Siman, who led the NEMA delegation, reaffirmed the agency’s resolve to continue supporting communities affected by disasters.

In his remarks, the director of Finance, ADSEMA, Jibril Bello, said the distribution of rice, maize, vegetables and other cocking condiments would go a long way in supporting the flood victims.
Flood Victims from Yolde-pate, Tashan Sani, Shagari and Bachure benefited from the gesture.
