The Country Coordinator of Linkway Outreach Africa, Pastor Daniel Ibiloma Adejo, has said the closure of 47 unity schools and the ongoing shutdown of other private and public schools could become “a blessing in disguise” for Nigeria’s education sector.
Speaking with journalists in Abuja, Adejo said the organisation is partnering with Learning Institute for Excellence, a United States–based educational body, to introduce a modern curriculum aimed at preparing Nigerian students for the fast-growing world of artificial intelligence.
He said the new curriculum, titled Counting to Calculus, was designed to supplement existing classroom learning and help position Nigeria as a leading force in the global AI revolution.
According to him, artificial intelligence, automation and data-driven technologies are reshaping the world at an accelerated pace, making advanced mathematical knowledge essential for students hoping to compete internationally.
