Belgian Pro League outfit FCV Dender have confirmed Benjamin Fredrick’s injury

“Benjamin has suffered a knee injury. He is now beginning his rehabilitation in England at Brentford,” reads a statement on the club’s official website.

The 20-year-old was initially expected to play a pivotal role for Nigeria at the AFCON 2025 finals, having started his country’s last six games. The injury is expected to sideline him until the end of the competition.
