Osimhen Crowned ‘Sportsman Of The Year’ In Turkey

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has been named the 2025 Sportsman of the Year in Turkey at the GQ Türkiye Men of the Year Awards.

The honour celebrates Osimhen’s immediate and explosive impact since joining Galatasaray.

The Nigerian forward was recognised as the undisputed catalyst for the club’s domestic success last season, delivering a staggering 37 goals and 7 assists across all competitions.

His prolific form has continued unabated into the current campaign, with 11 goals already netted in just 14 appearances for the “Yellow and Reds,” cementing his status as a fan favorite and a league icon.
