Newly inaugurated members of the Suleja Legislative Council have unanimously elected Hon. Awwal Ibrahim, the councillor representing Ikuh South I (Madalla), as the leader (speaker) of the 11th Legislative Assembly of Suleja local government area.
The election, which took place at the Conference Hall of the Suleja Local Government Secretariat, was conducted peacefully.
The motion for the election of Hon. Awwal Ibrahim as leader was moved by the Councillor representing Hashimi ‘A’ Ward and duly seconded by the Councillor representing Maje Ward, after which he was unanimously endorsed by all members present.
