African Democratic Congress Stakeholders Strategise To Clinch Kogi

Stakeholders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) from Kogi State gathered in Abuja yesterday for a crucial meeting under the leadership of Senator Tunde Ogbeha, the party’s North Central leader.

The meeting underscored the importance of unity among party members and leaders, urging collective efforts to advance ADC’s interests across the state.

Senator Ogbeha called on party members to prioritise unity and work towards electoral success in future polls.

He reaffirmed ADC’s commitment to internal democracy and the welfare of Kogi citizens, stressing that unity is key to achieving these goals.

The meeting highlighted ADC’s resolve to strengthen its presence in Kogi State, with plans to mobilise support for the upcoming membership registration exercise.

The leaders from the three senatorial districts presented reports on the party’s progress in their areas: Kogi East, former deputy governor, Simon Achuba; Kogi Central, former PDP chairman, Elder Sam Ohutu and Kogi West, Alhaji Musa Ahmadu.

Ogbeha’s leadership was highlighted as central to driving the party’s agenda in the region.

Among those in attendance were Senator Dino Melaye, Justina Abanida, the state chairman, Kingsley Temitope Ogga, Musa Wada, Shola Ojo, Hajiya Maryam Salihu, Kola Ologbodinya, Olayinka Braimoh, Alhaji Bologi Yabagi and Hon. Abdul Kareem Isah.

Others were Ambassador Joe Elebiyi, Chief Dayo Akande, Hon. Moses Okino, Hajiya Mariam Yakubu, Capt. Joe Agada (rtd), Rt. Hon Angulu, Elder Obolo Okpanachi, David Itopa, Mohammed Abdulraman Balga, Austin Okhai, Hajiya Habitat Mohammed Deen, Tom Ohikere, Tom Zakari, Barr. Omoyemi Gold Olumudi and Dr Idris Rufus Oluwafemi.
