Terrorists Attack Adamawa Communities

Boko Haram insurgents have attacked Mubang and Zah communities in Garha, Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

Mr Mbursa John, a resident from the area who spoke to LEADERSHIP on the phone, confirmed that houses and shops were burnt.

John, who could not confirm the casualty figures, said people have fled into buses for fear of being attacked.

Efforts to reach out to the Security agents proved abortive. Also, Mr Inuwa Usman Wa’aganda, council chairman, Hong local government could not be reached as he could not respond to phone calls or text messages sent to him.
