Church Preaches Contentment At Christmas

ECWA Church Number One  in Uke has celebrated Christmas in style at its premises in Uke Karu local government area of Nasarawa State.

In his Christmas message, Reverend Bukus Dakoro, who is also a pastor of the church, told the gathering that Christmas Day is not a day of spending extravagantly, without helping one another.

It is a day to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. He advised them to be content with what God has provided for them.

The cleric said nobody should be tempted to borrow money in order to celebrate Christmas. He also admonished them not to in commit sin, even after the of celebration.

Esther Habu and Rebecca Ashana who were among the women worshippers expressed gratitude to God for enabling  them to witness the day, and prayed that He would also enable them to  witness another one.
