The senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Dr Sharafadeen Alli, has felicitated with Nigerians, particularly the people of Oyo State, on their crossing into 2026 with renewed hope.

The senator, in a statement he signed and made available to newsmen in Ibadan, described the new year as a fresh opportunity for reflection, recommitment and collective action toward building a stronger, more prosperous and united nation despite prevailing challenges.

The Senator acknowledged the resilience of Nigerians in the face of economic and social pressures, noting that their perseverance remains a critical pillar sustaining the country’s democratic journey.

He commended President Bola Tinubu for his bold reforms and policy directions, expressing confidence that ongoing interventions would gradually yield positive outcomes for the masses.

Alli urged citizens to continue supporting government efforts at all levels, stressing that sustainable development requires patience, understanding and active participation from the people.
