‘We’re Just Friends Now’, TikToker Peller Accepts Breakup With Jarvis

Nigerian TikToker, Hamzat Habeeb, popularly known as Peller, has officially announced the end of his relationship with fellow content creator, Elizabeth Amadou, popularly known as Jarvis.

The announcement comes barely two weeks after the influencer was involved in a controversial road accident in which he deliberately crashed his car following alleged breakup threats from Jarvis.

LEADERSHIP recalls that Peller was hospitalised after the incident and later arrested by authorities in line with extant traffic laws.

Also, recall that two weeks ago, Jarvis confirmed that she had ended her relationship with Peller, pleading with the public to stop mocking him following his attendant car crash during a livestream

Jarvis maintained that while their relationship had ended, Peller should not be judged solely by the circumstances surrounding the incident.

However, speaking during a TikTok livestream on Thursday, January 1, 2026, Peller confirmed that the relationship had ended, noting that both parties had agreed to remain friends.

“Jarvis and I have officially broken up. For now, we are just friends. We kindly ask everyone to respect our decision. She’s my friend now, please don’t bully anybody,” he said.

He further disclosed that he had reached out to Jarvis’ family to apologise over the incident, adding that although they were initially upset, they had forgiven him.

“I have spoken with her family. I begged them to forgive me. They were angry at first, but later they forgave me. We’re still friends, but she said I should just disappear for now,” Peller stated.

The TikToker also announced his decision to stay away from romantic relationships in 2026, saying he wants to focus on his personal growth and enjoy his life.

“In 2026, I want to focus on my life and enjoy myself. I don’t want women around me again. Please don’t approach me. Any woman that tries to toast or talk to me, I will report you,” Peller declared.
