A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Sam Nkire, has advised APC presidential candidate for the 2023 general elections, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, to be magnanimous in victory, especially to the South East zone which has been crying out loud against marginalisation for a long time.

Nkire, who gave the advice in Abuja, noted that Tinubu would be a good president given his track record when he served as governor of Lagos State.

He stated that Tinubu is one of the greatest contributors to the birth, growth and development of the APC, adding that his landslide victory at the primary election confirmed his acceptance by the generality of party members.

Nkire, who is a pioneer leader of the APC caucus in Abia State, said the presidential flag bearer deserves to win the party’s presidential primary election considering his unequaled service to the APC.

He maintained that he was confident that with a juggernaut like Tinubu, on the ballot for the APC, the opposition, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), would have an uphill task regaining power, come 2023.
