Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani, has revealed that his administration’s peace model has produced tangible outcomes, strengthening stability and public confidence.
Sani said the model is increasingly being studied and adapted by other states in search of sustainable solutions to complex security challenges.
Governor Sani who stated this on his verified Facebook page after chairing Expanded Security Council meeting in Kaduna stated that security efforts were deliberately integrated with his development agenda.
The governor said he strategically positioned Kaduna State as Nigeria’s agricultural and agribusiness hub, while remaining resolute in his administration commitment to complete all ongoing infrastructure projects in 2026.
Sani noted that he would initiate new projects that stimulate economic growth, expand opportunity and reinforce social cohesion. He said, “Kaduna State has made an irreversible choice: unity over division, dialogue over discord, and development over exclusion. We will not return to the painful divisions of the past.
“I chaired a meeting of the Kaduna State’s Expanded Security Council, the first of its kind this year, bringing together heads of security agencies, traditional rulers and chairmen of our local government areas to undertake a thoughtful and comprehensive review of the security situation across the State.
“I took the opportunity to reflect on the steady progress recorded in 2025 through the consistent application of the Kaduna Peace Model; an approach firmly grounded in inclusiveness, proactive engagement, intelligence-driven operations and strong community ownership of peace.”
Governor Sani while commending President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his steadfast support, hailed security agencies, traditional leaders, local government chairmen and members of the Security Council for their dedication and service, “Together, we will continue to consolidate peace and build a Kaduna State where every citizen can live, work and thrive in safety.”
