Kebbi State governor Nasir Idris says the government and people of Kebbi State have concluded all arrangements to receive President Bola Ahmed Tinubu early next week to inaugurate some major projects  executed by his administration within two years in office.

Idris disclosed this development on Sunday at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi when he received some PDP supporters who defected to the APC.

In addition, Governor Idris added that during the President’s visit, he was also expected to witness the 2026 Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival, scheduled to be held between 11 and 14 February.

The governor also urged all sundry within and outside the state to come back home to give the President a rousing welcome to the state.

He said the government has taken all measures to ensure a hitch-free Festival.
