UCL: Real Madrid Coach Unfazed By Mourinho’s Tactics Ahead Of Benfica Clash

Real Madrid manager, Álvaro Arbeloa, has revealed his lack of surprise regarding Benfica head coach Jose Mourinho’s tactical approach.

Arbeloa made these remarks ahead of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 first leg tie against Benfica at the Estádio da Luz on Tuesday evening.

During his pre-match press conference, Arbeloa suggested that Mourinho’s strategies hold no unexpected elements for him.

“I don’t think José (Mourinho) can surprise me because I know perfectly what he is capable of,” Arbeloa stated. “It doesn’t matter if Benfica showed up with the Youth League team; I knew the intensity Real Madrid would bring to the pitch.

“Obviously, tomorrow will be more of the same. I know they can even play better, and we’ve to be prepared for that,” he added.
