Stakeholders Strategise On How To Tackle Insecurity In South West

An Indigenous rice mill, Gaanou Rice Farm Company, has distributed 1,500 bags of rice to orphans and the vulnerable in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State.

The proprietor of the farm, Engr. Rilwanu Zagga said the initiative was carried out under the mentorship of the minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, and aligned with the Kebbi State governor’s kind disposition, Nasir Idris.

He said that the gesture was also to assist in cushioning the effects of hardship on the orphans and the underprivileged in the state during the Ramadan period

The beneficiaries were drawn from Gesse Phase II and III, GRA and Unguwar Nahuta.
