La Liga Title Race Not Over Yet, Warns Barcelona’s Cubarsí

Barcelona star Pau Cubarsí remains confident that his team will continue to challenge Real Madrid for the La Liga title.

Barça recently ceded the La Liga lead to Los Blancos after a defeat at Girona on Monday night.

Speaking to Mundo Deportivo, the Spanish international affirmed that Barcelona will fight until the very end.

“It might be difficult to top last season, but we are Barça and that’s what we’re going to do: fight until the very end,” Cubarsí stated.

“We’re going to fight until the last moment, as we always have, and we’ll try to bring home the Champions League and every possible title so that everyone is happy and we can celebrate a great season.”

He added, “We are a group that has already shown that we believe in comebacks and have pulled them off. We’re going to try again.”
