Hilary Duff Opens Up On Fears Of Husband Leaving Her

Famous American Actress and Singer, Hilary Duff, has opened up on her fears bordering on thoughts that her husband, American Singer, songwriter and DJ, Matthew Koma, would leave her.

The 38-year-old says she has been having recurring dreams of her husband of nearly seven years cheating on her. She has fears that he would leave her for someone else.

As the ‘A Cinderella Story’ star, put it to Rolling Stone in an interview published on Feb. 19, “I always think Matt’s going to leave me for some coolio indie songwriter that he works with.”

These are worrying thoughts Hilary sings of in her new album release out February 20, titled’Luck…or Something’ co-written and co-produced by her husband, having 11 pop songs about her years after teenage stardom.

During the interview, she says the first album released in 10 years, involved what keeps her up at night, her insecurities and what 10 years has brought on. Adding that it was super healing to make something that felt exactly like her, and where she is right now.

In “Holiday Party”, where she sings about the recurring dream: “In my head you live another life …. And wish someone else could’ve been your wife,” Matthew explains that it is only a song and nothing more. He also says his wife’s fears are so insane, adding, “But also very real. Those are real things to get hung up on emotionally.”

The interview shared on X prompted some readers to express concern for Duff.

The Singer shares daughters Banks, 7, Mae, 4, and Townes, 21 months, with Matthew, and son Luca, 13, with ex-husband Mike Comrie.
