Winterplace, a subsidiary of Njame Consulting Limited, has positioned itself as a major player in Nigeria’s digital innovation through engineering solutions.

Incorporated by the Corporate Affairs Commission in September 2014, the fully indigenous engineering firm specialises in central air conditioning, ventilation systems and home appliances.

The company provides end-to-end HVAC services, including design, load calculation, installation, commissioning and after-sales maintenance.

A statement issued yesterday in Abuja, by the chief executive officer, Engr. Ikechukwu Obi Njoku emphasises that the organisation’s core objective is to provide engineering services to private, corporate and government institutions with quality as its central focus.

He explained that the company works with clients from project conception to completion, supplying equipment, devices and materials while also providing after-sales support.

“Over the past 12 years, Winterplace Services has built a reputation for innovation, reliability and service delivery, with its engineers tailoring systems to meet specific client requirements in line with global industry standards, he said.”

“Its operational model focuses on quality assurance, lifecycle project management and sustained client relationships.”

Njoku, a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has over 15 years’ experience across multiple engineering fields.

He is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, the Nigerian Institute of Mechanical Engineers and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers.

According to him, we strengthened technical partnerships with global brands in electronic safety and security systems, enhancing their maintenance culture and stakeholder engagement across the industry.

He said, despite its growth trajectory, the company identified challenges confronting the sector, including high borrowing costs, importation charges, the activities of unqualified practitioners, delayed payments for executed projects and shortage of skilled manpower, he said.”

He, however, expressed confidence that with stronger regulatory oversight, improved training and industry sensitisation, the sector can overcome these constraints.

With operational presence in Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja, we are also planning to expand centres in Kaduna and Owerri, to deepen our footprint while contributing to national economic growth and sustainable development through professional engineering services.
