Chief Executive of Edouard Equity LLC in a recent podcast avowed that the global economy is on the path of full recovery before it hit another setback due to Russia’s war in Ukraine which has ripple effects around the world.
Thony Edouard made his observation while speaking on wide-ranging topics that bordered on entrepreneurship from his experience.
Recalling the mistakes he made in his first few years as an entrepreneur, he said: “If I were patience to see people for who they are I would have avoided some unwholesome experiences.”
He also dropped five nuggets of wisdom for aspiring entrepreneurs on how to survive tough times in entrepreneurship.
“One, hustle as hard as you can; two, respect others because you never know who might be sitting in the big chair one day. Three, be as honest as you can because the next client might be your last resort someday. Four, not every money is good money and five, humble yourself because you will be in a tight spot,” he enumerated.
He also stated some important laws of business for entrepreneurs, saying “don’t be too greedy, be patient and respect money.”
Responding to questions on who his model entrepreneurs are, Thony Edouard mentioned a few.
“I love Deion Sanders for his dedication, boldness and humility. I have great respect for my mentor, Wayne Green, for his hustle and his keen foresight in seeing opportunity in every situation. And of course,
Jay-Z, who walks silently but wields a big stick,” he stated.
The Haitian whose most recent business concern, a streaming service called The Plug Network, is gaining ground, began his work career as a loan officer in New York and went on to found his own real estate firm, Edouard Equity LLC. He also found a company in his native country, Lakay Cabinet Depot Haiti, which deals in bathroom and kitchen supplies.
