NBRRI Holds Confab On Building Collapse

Concerned by the increasing cases of collapsed building across the country, the Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRR)I is convening a national summit to address this menace..
In a statement made available to LEADERSHIP yesterday, the director-general/CEO of NBRRI, Engr. Prof. Samson Duna, disclosed that the summit would focus on the factors responsible for building collapse, its devasting consequences and concrete measures to be taken to guard against it.

The summit which has as its theme: “Review of Building Collapse in Nigeria, Critical Outlook and the Way Forward” is scheduled to hold on 6th December, 2022 at 9am at Barcelona Hotel, Wuse II, Abuja.
The statement added that the summit will attract critical stakeholders from both the private and public sectors with the minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Dr Adeleke Olorunimbe Mamora expected to declare the event open.
