The Nigeria National League (NNL) has officially unveiled its plans for the 2026 Super Four, confirming that the tournament will take place at the ultra-modern Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.
Scheduled to run from May 1 to May 8, the competition will serve as the grand finale of the NNL season, bringing together the league’s top performers to battle for the ultimate crown.
In a departure from last year’s format, the 2026 edition has been streamlined to focus purely on crowning a champion. “Unlike last season when we organized the Super Eight to determine promotion to the elite league, this year’s Super Four will strictly be used to determine the league champion,” clarified NNL Chairman, George Aluo.
Aluo, who confirmed the development, emphasized the league’s commitment to quality and professionalism. He revealed that the decision to host the event at the Remo Stars Stadium was a deliberate one, aimed at providing players, officials, and fans with a top-tier experience.
The venue, recently upgraded to meet FIFA Certification standards, boasts a pristine natural grass pitch, modern floodlights, and world-class broadcast facilities.
“The league and its investors, Toptier Sports Management, alongside partners Betpawà , are committed to delivering a memorable and professionally organized competition,” Aluo stated.
“We selected the Remo Stars Stadium because of its world-class infrastructure and excellent playing conditions, which will provide an ideal environment for the competition.”
With its modern dressing rooms, comfortable spectator seating, and enhanced security measures, the Ikenne-based stadium is set to offer a fitting stage for what promises to be a thrilling conclusion to the NNL season.
