The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has, in its Eid-el-Fitr message, called for national unity and compassion.
In a statement on Friday, the ADC National Publicity Secretary Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi said the end of Ramadan should inspire citizens to draw strength from faith and sacrifice despite current challenges, and to work toward “a more just, peaceful, and prosperous Nigeria for all.”
The party spokesman added “hardship does not have the final word—perseverance, compassion, and unity do.”
“This season is a reminder that even in the most challenging times, faith, sacrifice, and resilience can restore our confidence in a better tomorrow,” Abdullahi said.
He added that the values of discipline, generosity, and devotion shown during Ramadan should guide Nigerians as many families face real difficulties.
The ADC, he said, remains committed to a future “where every Nigerian can live with dignity, security, and opportunity.” The party closed its message with Eid Mubarak wishes to Muslim faithful and their families.
End.
