Nigerian Breweries Plc has been awarded the 2026 Top Employer Certification in Nigeria following an independent assessment of its human resource practices by Top Employers Institute.

The certification, a globally recognised benchmark, is awarded to organisations that demonstrate excellence across key human resource areas, including people strategy, talent acquisition, learning and development, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, employee wellbeing, and workplace environment.

The company secured the recognition after successfully completing the institute’s HR Best Practices Survey, validation, and audit process.

Speaking on the development, the Human Resources Director of Nigerian Breweries, Grace Omo-Lamai, said the certification reflects the company’s sustained investment in its workforce and commitment to talent development.

She noted that the recognition aligns with the company’s goal of building a resilient and future-ready workforce, adding that its people-focused strategies are designed to meet global standards while addressing local realities.

Also commenting, the Head of Employee Relations at Nigerian Breweries, Nkechi Juwah, described the award as a validation of the company’s strong human capital and supportive work environment.
