President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, and Senate President Godswill Akpabio were among top political figures who stormed Eagle Square for the ongoing APC National Convention in Abuja.
President Tinubu arrived at the venue at exactly 8:18 p.m., receiving a rousing welcome from party members and supporters who had gathered in large numbers.
Ahead of his arrival, delegates and stakeholders from across the country had converged on the Federal Capital Territory for the convention. A total of 32 state chapters of the All Progressives Congress (APC), alongside 8,450 accredited delegates, were reported to have arrived for the exercise.
The convention has drawn key leaders of the ruling party, serving as a platform for major deliberations and decisions expected to shape the party’s direction ahead of future political activities.
Party faithful continued to throng the venue, creating a vibrant atmosphere marked by chants, music, and displays of party solidarity as proceedings got underway.
