Plateau State governor Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, has joined millions of Nigerians, well-wishers, admirers and party faithful in congratulating his esteemed brother, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, on his successful screening and well-deserved re-election as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), alongside other members of the National Working Committee.

Mutfwang in a congratulatory message signed by his director of press and public affairs Mr. Gyang Bere, described Prof. Yilwatda’s emergence through a consensus arrangement as a thoughtful demonstration of the APC’s commitment to inclusive, people-oriented leadership under the guidance of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, particularly as the nation looks ahead to the 2027 general elections.

The governor commended the maturity and foresight of party leaders and stakeholders who have continued to promote unity, tolerance, and strategic reforms within the party. He noted that such efforts have strengthened internal cohesion and ensured a level playing field for all members to pursue their aspirations without rancour.

Governor Mutfwang further acknowledged the tireless efforts and visionary leadership of Prof. Yilwatda
since his unanimous adoption in June 2025.

He highlighted key initiatives, including reconciliation and forgiveness among party members, the reorganization of party membership through e-registration, and the repositioning of the APC for sustained growth and electoral success.

Expressing strong confidence in Prof.Yilwatda’s capacity, the governor emphasized his expertise in digital transformation, energy research, and ICT, as well as his distinguished service as a resident electoral commissioner.

He noted that these credentials positioned him to lead the party to a resounding victory in 2027.
