Premier League heavyweights Arsenal and Liverpool are among several European clubs tracking highly rated Nigerian-born defender Honest Ahanor.

The young centre-back has impressed with his performances for Atalanta this season, making 28 appearances across all competitions and establishing himself as one of Serie A’s emerging defensive talents.

Spanish giants Real Madrid are also believed to be monitoring his progress, though Arsenal are thought to be leading the race after dispatching scouts to watch him in recent months.
