The managing director of NLNG, Leye Falade, and former Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun, are to feature at The Convergence 2026, a one-day conference scheduled to hold on April 18, 2026, in Port Harcourt.
Also expected at the conference, with the theme: “Positioning for Prosperity 2026 and Beyond”, are 600 other professionals and business leaders, including the managing director of Aradel Holdings, Gbite Falade and others.
Addressing journalists in Port Harcourt yesterday, the convener of The Convergence 2026, Pastor Lanre Oluseye, said the conference is targeted at middle-class career persons.
Oluseye described the conference as a convergence of force, ideas, and capacity, as well as a gathering of business leaders and professionals to chart a way forward.
“It is the convergence of force, it is the convergence of ideas, and it is the convergence of capacity. It is the convergence of people, business leaders and professionals coming together to chat a way forward.
“What gave birth to the convergence? We realised that is life, every now and again, every business, every business leader, every professional needs a place called the plutuo.
“The plutuo is that place where your next is far but also near. The plutuo is where you see there is more, but it looks elusive, and you are unable to access it.
“So, we have put the convergence together, bringing people who are in the very apex of their career and apex of their business, to tell the rest of us that when we were in this state, how did we cross that divide, he said.
