Fulham are reportedly intensifying their efforts to secure the permanent signing of Nigerian international Samuel Chukwueze from AC Milan.
The winger has made a significant impact since joining Craven Cottage on loan from the Serie A giants last summer.
Chukwueze has been a key player for Marco Silva’s side, contributing three goals and four assists in 17 league appearances.
According to Italian sports newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, Fulham are poised to activate the €24 million purchase clause in the Nigerian’s contract.
This potential transfer would provide a substantial financial boost for AC Milan, who are reportedly looking to raise funds to strengthen their own squad. Chukwueze, 26, moved to AC Milan from Spanish club Villarreal in 2023 but struggled to consistently make his mark at the San Siro, scoring only four times in 51 appearances.
He currently has two years remaining on his contract with the Italian club.
